It is totally wrong to kill these animals, and the idea that it will solve or even reduce the problem of Bovine TB is flawed (article <a href="http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2010/sep/15/badger-cull-england-jim-paice" target="_blank">here</a>). </p> <p>I walk very long distances each day, and have often seen Badgers in the evening. He is talking about why the internet is such a useful tool to musicians, especially those who don’t have the huge budget available to them to make and distribute phsyical versions of their music (let alone find a place for them on High Street shops). Read it <strong><a href="http://wtyf.wordpress.com/2010/09/03/interview-fabrizio-paterlini/" target="_blank">here</a></strong>.</p> <p>In contrast, I read recently that Prince said <a href="http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/news/7874307/Prince-the-internets-completely-over.html" target="_blank">“the internet is over”</a> and that he doesn’t want his music released online as it doesn’t pay him a big enough advance. What an arrogant, anachronistic, backwards view to take - the internet has broken open the monopoly that big labels and the press had over what artists can be heard by an audience and how audiences listen to and buy music. What is with this cold, mechanical, dull, repetitive, buzzword, mediawhore art-speak?? 5 years ago, every artist in the western world was so desperate to write that they were ‘controversial’ or ‘challenging’ or ‘vibrant’ - now it is the above. The art might actually be worth seeing - there is no picture of it in the guide - but it reads like the sound of nails on a blackboard.
