generally, i keep my thoughts about things to myself, and i certainly don’t post them ad-hoc online - i just don’t understand or care about most of the things happening in music/culture/the world generally so i opt out of even commenting on them. but, just this once, i would just like to broadcast to the world (or the 3 and half people who ever read this thing) my total contempt for House music and its audience. i am right in the middle of recording an album of solo piano pieces and i have to throw away so many good takes because my neighbour hasn’t bought any cds since 1992 and plays chav dance music through my wafer-thin walls. it has the effect of mental and physical paralysis…
